There has been an update on speculation that one WWE legend was returning to kick off a program with current top stars.
Lita made her return to help Becky Lynch beat Bayley in the main event in a steel cage match on Raw (02/06/2023).
Lita was just the first to return, with Trish Stratus expected the following week to set up a major angle moving forward according to WRKD Wrestling to set up a match against Bayley, IYO SKY and Dakota Kai.
A new report suggests plans may have changed.
WRKD Wrestling claims Trish Stratus is coming back to WWE soon for a “lengthy program” in what will be an unexpected role.
